Computational Biomedicine


Computational Biomedicine is the fundamental research of VinBigdata, aiming at applying computational approaches to the analysis of high-throughput molecular datasets in order to improve the diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of complex medical diseases. The result is a large-scale biomedical database that supports biomedical research and practical medical applications.


Integrate biomedical data by using mathematical and computational methods to interpret molecular mechanisms behind disease development and drug effects, also develop new computational methods and tools to improve existing solutions for biomedical problems. VinBigdata currently focuses on a number of common diseases in Vietnam (such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease and cancer) and genomic pharmacology (such as side drug effects) for clinical decision support systems.
